To etch ALU surfaces, use approx. 1.5% to 3% with water. At European room temperatures - depending on the intensity of the surface corrosion - approx. 3 to 8 minutes. An increase in temperature causes the same etching due to a shorter exposure time. Wash off in a bubble bath or with a high-pressure cleaner.

AUCO ALU - ÄTZ - removes dirt and oxide deposits on aluminum, brass and copper. A hard protective layer against corrosion is formed on aluminum. Non-ferrous metals are brightened; Iron parts are phosphated. Copper is quickly covered with patina after treatment. The gloss is maintained by oiling or treating with clear lacquer. AUCO ALU - ÄTZ - does not contain acids!
